RENTAL DURATION & DAILY RATE - One days hire is 24 hours from the time of pick up. We allow a grace period of one hour after the 24 hours (one days hire) before another days hire is charged, we do not charge part days. No refund is given for early returns. There are no hidden costs - all fees will be outlined on quotation and booking confirmation.

INSURANCE CONDITIONS - For drivers 25 and over an excess of $1700+gst applies ($2000+gst for Toyota Corolla, Holden Captiva, Toyota Estima & Toyota Hiace). This can be reduced to $250+gst ($500+gst for Toyota Corolla, Holden Captiva, Toyota Estima & Toyota Hiace) by paying an extra $15 per day or $45 for all one day hires. Insurance excess for drivers 18 - 24 is $3000+gst and cannot be reduced. The insurance excess is secured by an imprint of your credit card.

CANCELLATIONS - Cancellations made within seven days of commencement of hire will incur the greater of a one day hire fee or 10% of the total rental cost. Cancellations made within 48 hours of commencement of hire or no shows will incur a fee of the full hire cost.

DRIVERS LICENCE - A current full valid New Zealand or overseas licence is required from all intending drivers. Overseas drivers with a non-English licence must carry an accurate translation and have an International Drivers Permit. We do not charge for any additional drivers, but all licences must be sighted at the time of hire.

CHILD SEATS & EXTRAS - Child seats are compulsory in New Zealand for children up to the age of seven. We hire baby and booster seats for an additional fee. Please order these at the time of booking and advise age and weight of child so we insure the correct seat is installed.

ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE - All our vehicles are covered by the New Zealand Automobile Association. Please note that any call out deemed "driver error" will be charged a call out fee. Driver error includes flat batteries due to leaving lights on, locking key inside vehicle etc.
