Visitors get the chance to see, smell, touch (and most importantly), taste the ingredients that make "The Pride of the South".

The tour is interactive with 'hands-on' and audio visual displays to ensure the tour appeals to young and old alike, as visitors witness the fascination of the working brewery whilst the rich malt and hop aromas of the day's brewing linger in the air. Don't forget your camera as the sparkling copper vessels of the Brewhouse make for a fantastic photo opportunity.

There is also an opportunity to bottle, personally label and cap your own Speight's beer and take it home in a beautiful wooden gift pack.

Welcome to the home of the Yellow Eyed Penguin Reserve - winner of several eco-tourism awards.

Enjoy a guided tour through the Yellow Eyed Penguin colony with close up views of these beautiful birds and fantastic photographic opportunities from distances down to less than a metre.

The reserve is situated at Penguin Place, near the end of the Otago Peninsula and each guided tour lasts approximately 90 minutes.
